Lake Macquarie Yacht Club where you can dine at Salt Water Grill, Hire a yacht and sail away into the sunset or learn to sail. Enjoy a drink and take in the awesome sunsets on the spacious deck area with the lake lapping against the marina. Relax and enjoy the atmosphere at one of the most reputable yacht clubs in Lake Macquarie.

Belmont Golf Club for the golfing enthusiasts

Nature Walks

We have a beautiful nature walk from the Park to the beach with a viewing deck to see all the wildlife in particular Black Swans with their signets if you are here at the right time of year. Also many varieties of ducks, which are a hit with the kids – so bring along some bread!

Glenrock State Conservation Area protects the last remnant of coastal temperate rainforest in the Lake Macquarie/Newcastle region. You can walk the Yeulerbah walking track, part of the Great North Walk. Also popular for mountain biking and there is a bicycle track newly built for all the family, which takes you along the old Railway tracks of Newcastle.

Lake Macquarie State Conservation Area stretches along 16 kilometres of foreshore in six different areas around the lake. In particular Green Point Foreshore Reserve, which is very popular with the locals, has some amazing viewing points of the lake from the foreshore path and rainforest boardwalk.
